Concord Marina Show! September 3RD!

posted Aug 24, 2021, 12:10 PM by Bary Jolly

Heading up to Concord Marina, for a Labor Day Weekend Show! Looks like its almost time for this season to come to an end but we have one more chance to play some tropical tunes in a lake life atmosphere on the last official holiday of summer! Things were a lot slower this year as far as Marina gigs went but looks like I'm getting one last chance to play one. Join us at  Concord Marina at 10903 S Northshore dr. in Knoxville from 7-10pm for an evening of songs about Boats, Bars, Beaches and Ballads! It will be great to feel the lake breeze and a mild summer evening with a cool beverage, great food and EXCELLENT company! Parrothead fans are the best in the world. If you have missed hearing these songs as much as I have missed playing them for my marina friends, then come on out one more time and lets raise a toast to better times ahead and prosperity for all!

Well friends looks like a combo made in paradise! Baseball and Buffett! The Jolly Island Party Show will be touring the East Tennessee area in the near future. Look for us in Kingsport on July 30th and in Johnson City on August 6th for the Axemen and Doughboys Margarittaville nights!  There will be food and drink specials at each ballpark on these theme nights. We certainly enjoyed playing Smokies stadium June 19th and the crowd was special! They danced in conga lines and fin waves and had a great time! we hope you can join us on one of these days to see Americas favorite sport and listen to songs about Boats, Beaches, Bars and Ballads! Fins UP!

Returning to Normal? well yes and no but possibly and defiantly maybe! As the country moves ahead with baby steps to get past this what seems like a perpetual pandemic we do see some signs of "normal" returning to our communities. I too am anxious to get back in the groove. I am glad to say I do have some shows scheduled starting in May so check the calendar for updates and hopefully we will be back in the caribbean swing of things soon!

Hello 2021, WELCOME! 2021, We're So Glad Your Here!

The Doldrums, that dreaded sailor's sudden and real nightmare about something that's nothing!  Imagine floating but not moving, just every where you go, there you are.  The Doldrums engulfed the Jolly schooner during the Ides of March 2020 and sent all tour dates pouring into a whirlpool that disappeared before me very eyes.  RRR, well I'm glad to say that the wind has started to change in 2021 and we are steering toward a nervous norm.  So Look for upcoming events starting in May!
 HERE'S HOPING FOR A BETTER 2021

This is an altogether thing or its a "who cares about anyone else" thing. Im hoping you can see the difference clearly.

We all look forward to having a great summer but we must sacrifice for a while to insure the safety of our neighbors!

April 19th "Sunday Buffett" CANCELLED

posted Apr 11, 2020, 9:19 AM by Bary Jolly

The April  19th "Sunday Buffett" debut has been cancelled due to the serious outbreak of COVID-19. I'm disappointed but optimistic that our country's current active response to this outbreak will start us on the road to recovery! Our efforts got off to a slow start since we really didn't begin any strict precautions until March although we were aware in February how serious a highly contagious pandemic could be.  We may have a handle on it soon but its uncharted waters and all of our efforts depend on everyone doing their part! i'm doing mine but I sure don't like it! So STAY HOME, stay safe, its our obligation to protect our nation by preventing the spread of this vile virus!
